One somewhat official tradition we had during my time here was the Gender and Women's Studies Department's* annual Puppy Picnic, held during spring semester finals week. There are definitely way worse things to present a group of stressed, over-caffeinated, sleep-deprived students than a bunch of puppies, if you ask me. Pets are known stress relievers. They've done studies on it and everything. Anyway, here's me and my small friend Mochi in 2013.
