This beautiful tree is located just next to Alumni House. One day, after a particularly cold and nasty winter, my friend Erika and I decided we needed to commemorate the blooming of the tree (and the coming of spring!) with a celebratory photo shoot. I have made many good friends over the years here, and this is still one of my favorite photos.

Hooray for spring! Hooray for the alumni house. So many things to love -- the great people, the beautiful trees, the goldfish pond, the sand pool. :)
