As UMBC celebrates its 50th, the Imaging Research Center (IRC) will begin celebrating its 30th. The IRC was officially formed in 1987 in the Visual Arts Department. It is currently a campus-wide center based in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Pictured above in this photo from the 1990s is founding director David Yager (center), Associate Director Alan Price (right) and Managing Director Bill Tudor (left).
